Deep Sea Fishing

Are you a professional fisherperson? Maybe you have never fished a day in your life? Well we have a trip for you… We have reserved the 65 foot vessel The Clemente exclusively for Calvary Chapel Beaumont. You will want to bring your sons/daughters and nephews/nieces and grandsons/grand-daughters for a time of fellowship on the open seas. Below is information of this exciting trip:

Time: Depart the dock at 7AM return to dock at 4PM. (Meet at church to form carpools to Dana Wharf Sportfishing at 430AM) Otherwise meet at the Landing no later than 630AM. Parking is free but you must get a “voucher” and park in a separate lot.

What to bring: A lunch, snacks, drinks, (food can be purchased on board) sun glasses, hat, cooler to take fish home in (must leave in your car) sweat short and or jacket (dress in layers). Small soft coolers for food are permitted on the boat.

Fishing Gear: Saltwater rod and reel (can be rented for $18) #2 and #20 hooks (live bait), split shot and sliding sinkers, torpedo sinkers (2-8oz), plastic swim baits, iron jigs, 15-20lbs fishing line recommended. You may also want to bring a light spinning rod setup for calico bass fishing (6-10lbs test).
